Our online “Emergency Response Guidebook Familiarization and Use” course is designed to provide in-depth training on the effective use of the most current Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG).  Students must have a current version of the Department of Transportation (DOT) Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG) to use during this course. There is a downloadable version of the ERG available to all students, or the student may opt during registration to have the guidebook shipped to them. This course provides valuable training on how to effectively use the most current Emergency Response Guidebook. You must be trained by your employer on the hazards, equipment, engineering and administrative controls, safe work practices and emergency plans specific to your role and workplace.
