This online training is designed to aid employers in meeting the training requirements OSHA GHS/HAZCOM Standard. Lack of HAZCOM Training is the second most frequently cited OSHA standard. Because exposure to hazardous chemicals can have long-lasting, adverse affects on the American worker's health, OSHA updated its HAZCOM Standard, in 2012, and aligned it with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of classifying chemical hazards.
You must provide "effective" HazCom training to your employees at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area.
This class is aproximatly 2 hours long.  A certificate of training will be provided.
